Truly a home away from home
Visiting From: Bangalore
Visited In The Month Off: November

A beautiful house and a lovely family to take care right from the day of joining them and until departure.

Though a little away from Madikeri town, that should be all the more reason to choose this place. An ideal place for a peaceful stay.

The spacious bungalow where the hosts live in the ground floor and guests were accommodated in the first floor had clean linens, well maintained rooms and with a beautiful huge balcony in the first floor. Scooby (their pet dog)& its 2 kids 🙂 along with the host took us around their wonderful plantation surrounded with the beautiful coffee & pepper plantation, canals, ponds, and river within their property.

The breakfast and Coorg style dinner (all vegetarian, on request) prepared by the wonderful hosts were awesome. Almost all of the organic raw materials used are grown in their property, such as rice, vegetables, milk and of course, coffee 🙂

Highly recommended homestay!

Our stay at Blue Mist homestay  was really memorable and feel to visit again to cover remaining places of visit. The family looked after us just like other family members. The food served by them is very special and delicious. Family is very much disciplined and hard working. They guided us well in advance to our joining them and advised very wisely till departure. Sweet memories.

Thank you for such a nice hospitality.
This is one of the best time we ever spent here in blue mist. Gagan, his father, mother and Grandmother the entire family has amazing spirit in serving guests. During our stay we were served and treated like their own family members. It’s truly like our own home.
There is lot of takeaways and learnings from them in terms of family values and culture.we deeply appreciate and thanks everyone.
Gagan - You are amazing. Your deep knowledge of culture and the way you share your thoughts are awesome. We are impressed.
Uncle- You are such a kind and down to earth person. You taught us many things indirectly. Thanks.
Grandma- is one of the kind. Now we understood that language is never barrier when we need to express love. ( I am non Kannada speaker but was able to communicate very well with grandma)

This homestay made our holiday a perfect one. It was an awesome experience to stay amidst nature surrounded by coffee estates. It's like a home away from home. The hospitality of the family added a 5-star to our experience. Would like to visit again whenever I plan for Coorg again.
